This was an assignment in 8th grade. The assignment was to write a poem, any kind. One of the suggested titles was "The Dream", so I used that and free-associated the rest. It was part of my 8th grade "anthology" (see BtP: Good and Evil) and, when looking back at it, I was surprised by how much it seemed to say. It alluded to things in my life. I creep myself out whenever I do that.
